Begin your journey through our Sports Performance with two introductory sessions.

The first session will be our opportunity to get to know each other. The aim is to determine your baseline and go through foundational movement patterns which will inform our exercise selection. This will take 30 minutes.

In our second session, we will complete your first exercise session and present you with the plan towards unlocking your fullest potential through exercise, nutrition, and ongoing support & education. This will be a 60-minute session.

After these sessions, you can choose to continue with one-on-one or group training. In either path, your program will be personalized for you weekly, and you will be a part of a community of like-minded people.

Neal Wen - Sports Performance Coach

Neal oversees all aspects of high performance training at Olympia Athletics. His responsibilities include, but are not limited to: training methodology, sport sciences and staff development.

He also serves as the head sports performance coach for Olympia Athletics’ basketball and netball athletes.

In addition to coaching, Neal is also a committed sport scientist engaging in sports research, specializing in speed, explosive and long-term athletic development. Combining his prior experience in professional sports - speed and explosive coach of Melbourne Tigers basketball club - Neal brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program at Olympia Athletics

Maverick Reyes - Physiotherapist

Maverick has successfully treated a variety of clients having spent years working in private practice, hospitals, and professional sports.

Maverick completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine and Masters in Physiotherapy and has since completed additional study in Applied Kinesiology.

Through the years of working on complex injuries and health conditions, Maverick has developed cutting-edge rehabilitation modalities that has helped clients recover from injury, manage health conditions, and get out of pain.

Maverick is able to give clear timeline advice, having worked in professional sport, where playing-time means serious business.

Maverick currently works with athletes from the NBA, NBL, SSN, Skate Australia, and the Australian Ballet School.

Miguel Juco - Sports Performance Coach

Miguel's early exposure to basketball sparked a lifelong curiosity in peak physical and mental performance.

Inspired by his love for basketball, running, and snowboarding, Miguel pursued a path to become a certified personal trainer, focusing on empowering individuals to reach their full potential. He devotes himself to studying and perfecting the best training methods, eager to pass on his knowledge and expertise to those he worked with.

Currently, Miguel is in his final year at Victoria University, diligently working towards completing his Bachelor of Exercise Science.

At Olympia Athletics, Miguel leads the personal and group training, and coaches in our High Performance Basketball and Basketball Foundations programs.
